“I have a love for design and a strong interest in mechanical and technical structures. The inspiration for my Cubitz images sprung from these interests as well as with the free-form abstract paintings I admire, including those of Franz Kline and Mark Rothko. In creating these images I’ve tried to balance a flat geometric pattern with rich texture and complementary colors. I enjoy the areas of each image that take on depth and a three dimensional effect.”

Born in 1984 to parents who are artists, Noah Li-Liger grew up surrounded by art. As a child, the studio was his playground. His exposure to a wide variety of art, including the great museums of Europe and North America, fuels his creativity and inspires him to many different artistic mediums. Apart from painting, Noah also makes kinetic sculpture which can be found in collections in Montreal, New York, Paris, and other cities worldwide. Noah’s approach to painting reflects his strong interest in design. His paintings emphasize from color rather than literal subject matter. Thus his paintings capture the eye, leaving interpretation to the viewer.
