Zoey Riley was born to very conservative and traditional parents, who did not support her interest in fine arts. Zoey pursued her passion in fine art secretly as an adolescent, due to her parent’s restrictions, and used the art she viewed in galleries and books as her tutors. As soon as she was of age, she fled her hometown to live in New York City in order to be closer to a fast paced environment, concentrated with art galleries. Zoey used everything around her to draw inspiration, from the street signs to the dancers seen through the windows of dance studios. After taking in all she could from the edgy New York art scene, Zoey made her move to San Francisco, where she could expand her skills and be a part of the culture filled scene. Today, she resides in Southern California, still searching for the experience that will take her to the next level.
