Through her use of texture, Kimball has created a canvas that is both dramatic and moving without being over the top. Neve Kimball created the textural effect by adding pearlized paint to the canvas and then using an artists’ tool to create deep lines and valleys. Neve Kimball began her love affair with painting at the age of 7. Her talent was obvious to all, and her parents made sure to help her talent flourish. Neve attended the savannah college of art and design. After graduating with honors, Neve went on to travel to endangered habitats across the globe to gain experience to incorporate into her artwork. Neve is currently living and working New York, where the art scene is thriving. She continues to draw inspiration from nature and everything that surrounds her.
