Jeff Friesen is an international award-winning photographer currently based in Nova Scotia. His work focuses on elevating modest, pocket-sized landscapes into monumental forms. He has received recognition for his work from American Photo, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Banff Centre for the Arts, Artropolis, and Photography Unlimited (Japan). In 2009, he received eight Honorable Mentions in the International Photography Awards, making his work among the most-repeatedly honored of over 23,000 entries in the contest. Jeff’s photographs have been published in over a dozen magazines and exhibited across North America and in Japan.
