Bristol High Chest

Our Bristol Collection is an elegant design with subtle curves throughout the entire collection.  Sophisticated center scroll on the headboard, curved front and detailed corner pillars on the cases. This canopy bed can transform easily between canopy, tall four posters, or no posts.  The collection has a beautiful “burnished chestnut” finish which is a 20-step hand-applied finish, hand-rubbed to ensure a rich depth of color and warmth.

 

·          Constructed of solid kiln-dried select poplar and parawood hardwoods, with grade A select figured cherry hardwood veneer over engineered hardwood.

·          Queen bed has three cross slats each with an adjustable height center leg.  King beds have four cross slats each with an adjustable height center leg. 

·          Posts attach to the bed frame easily by turning into study metal internal connections that prevent wobbling.

·          Bed has a finished back panel so that it may float in a room.

·          Wood finish is a “burnished chestnut” color, hand-applied and rubbed in a 20-step process that ensures a rich depth of color and warmth. Protected with a durable lacquer topcoat.

·          Drawers have solid and smooth beech hardwood on wood glides with fully finished interiors in birch veneer and dovetail joinery. 

·          Top drawers are all felt lined.

·          Cast metal antique pewter finish drawer pulls.

·          Plastic glided protect floors.
