About the Artist
Patrick was born in Montreal where he graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts. His paintings are predominantly urban abstract, inspired by the works of Jean Michel Basquiat. Versatile and always ready for new experiences, Patrick backpacked and went on climbing expeditions in various Canadian national parks, which motivated his developing style of landscape painting. Using a great depth of field in his work, a sense of solitude and tranquility is conveyed by isolating the viewer from the background.
