He has been practicing photography for several years now. His Dad, who is now a retired photographer, exposed David to the world of photography so he grew up, with the smell of chemicals, the shutter snap and the purr of his roller transport print processor.</div><div><br />David likes to capture the fleeting, the subtle, the beautiful, the rare, the spectacular and the staggering to reveal how the ordinary can be filled with enthusiasm.</div>

Since her earliest years, Lila was fascinated by concepts involving universal connectedness and was naturally drawn to the arts. Her grandmother turned her on to the intoxicating words of Hafez and Rumi, and as a young child she brought those stories to life in her paintings.&#160; Her Persian name means &#8220;paradise,&#8221; a fitting association with her current work that serve as internal portraits of dreamy, atmospheric, transcendental spaces.&#160; Layered colors reveal the voice of an emerging abstractionist, portraying texture and tones that mimic the journey of nature&#8217;s wonderment. Her interpreted landscapes show an increasingly sophisticated sensibility for the ways in which forms and space interact from a spiritualist stance.&#160; Lila lives in Laguna Beach, California and has been instructing students in drawing and design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising since 2000.
