“You can see a direct correlation between my personal style and home interior. I like to keep it
pretty minimal, and layer with special pieces.”
The ProjectTo celebrate the launch of our Small Spaces Collection, we've teamed up with New York
City's premiere style influencer Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What. Our mission is to infuse her West
Village apartment with fashion-forward looks and smart functionality. For a girl who's constantly on
the go, Danielle's first priority is establishing an environment that functions as a living room and
work space. She has moved five times in the last five years in an attempt to find a great apartment
that can also accommodate her impressive wardrobe. Her current West Village place fits the bill.
There’s a lofted bedroom with a wide open and airy space below. It’s the perfect room for a revamp. To
get the collaboration started, Danielle shares a Pinterest board with our designers to communicate her
vision. Behind the scenes, we design several room layouts with our Smaller Spaces furniture and
organic, yet glamorous accessories to give her compact living room/office a cohesive and clean look.
Our Storage Ottoman and Archer Media Cabinet offer easy yet stylish storage for keeping clutter out of
view. Our chic Parker Nesting Tables present a flexible alternative to the conventional coffee table.
One stores under the other when extra space is needed.
The OutcomeAfter a day full of unpacking, arranging, and collaborating, Danielle's living room is
revitalized. Because she’s a self-described succulent fanatic, we display her favorites throughout the
space, dotting the room with vibrant green. We give the apartment a glamorous edge using distinctive
statement pieces like our Studio Mirrored Desk, Pierre Mirror, and Devon Floor Lamp. To satisfy her
wish for a neutral foundation, we throw down a few organic accessories like our Chinchilla Throw and
Ayi Faux Cowhide Rug. Since personal touches really make a home, we hang her collection of Studio 54
prints by famed NYC nightlife photographer Allan Tannenbaum, and keep her retro 1970s neon sign right
                 where she has it.
